Today's Print - 70s

Last week I had this massive urge to source and purchase vintage clothing.  I'm not surrounded by the best stocked vintage stores, which are often overpriced, so I tend to buy most pieces online at Etsy or less frequently Ebay.  However, when the urge kicks in, a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do.

I got a cute scarf, amazing orange beret, printed blouse and a printed skirt.  Both the skirt and blouse are 70s, and I am in love with their prints.

Today's print is the one on the skirt.

So lovely!  (And only a little obnoxiously/OTT floral!  Which is the perfect amount if you ask me, but you're not asking, so never mind!)

Today's Print is a a blue and white number.  I don't usually wear those colours (no reason why) so this is a little bit of a change (although it is a floral, so that's the same as usual)

At first glance the print looks a little...couch-y, but trust me, it's really pretty and simple.

I think I like it.  Yes, I like it.

this is a little cheat, as this is actually Wednesday's print, but hey ho.  Nevermind!

I usually hate floral prints on black backgrounds, and they rarely catch my eye.  But for some reason, I'm perfectly happy with this one.  I tend to wear this dress to work to be honest, and it's a nice change from just block colours.

Today's Print

Here is today's (and yesterday's) print.  To be completely honest, it's a total misrepresentation of the print as I took these photos with an iphone app.  It's a really pretty bright print, with lots of accents of fuchsia and purple.  Ah well!

I just saw The Woman in Black.  Pretty disappointing to be honest.  I've seen it as a play and it was much, much better!

I wore this dress to work today, and thought I'd share its print as 'Today's Print.'  Pretty self-explanatory I guess, right?

It's a pretty red dress with a sort of spotty type print.  I also really like the collar it has.  I do love a collar...!

Hope your week is going well.  My head's a little fuzzy and staring at a screen in work is unpleasant as a result.  Hey ho, I'll live.

It's a dress from H&M and it's really cute and easy to wear, so I nabbed it!

Today's Print: New Feature

Hi lovelies!  I very rarely wear "plain" clothes; that is, clothes that don't have a pattern or print of some kind.  I love print and all my clothing has some sort of pretty pattern.

So, a new feature here is Today's Print, where I post a picture of the print I'm wearing that day.  Quite a simple idea, no?

So here is today's print.  A large floral pattern.  I don't usually go for larger floral patterns, but I love the shape of this dress and the print really works with that.
