I remember when I visited Barcelona for work a good number of years ago, we went to see the Magic Fountain show (?) at night, and it was spectacular. I basically forced my friend into thinking that this was a good idea (course it was!) and we headed over for about 7.30pm as our guidebooks said it was around 8.00pm it started. So we waited...and waited...and waited...until 9pm! It seems everyone's guidebooks had misled them as everyone was anticipating it would begin around 8pm. Ah well, never mind. My camera went into overdrive, and it was an interesting challenge for me to try and get exposure and shutter speed as accurate as possible as a) it was dark and b) I wanted to capture the water as sharply as possible. I definitely need to improve, but hopefully these shots give you an ideas of just how spectacular the fountain was!
If you're unsure of what the fountain actually is, it basically comes to life with loud music and lights and it's just amazing! So exciting, and beautiful too!
