Thought Prompts

All over the internet (particularly on blogs) there's a great deal of retrospective posts and looking back on 2011 etc.  I really enjoy reading these sorts of posts but am definitely looking forward on here.  I love a bit of journaling and have invested some pennies in journals with prompts and books that help me to really unwind my thoughts.  My most recent acquisitions include...

I absolutely adore the Listography series, and already have the original Listography Journal and My Music Listography and am reeeeally excited about the Film Listography they're releasing!  The journal title pretty much explains itself, but if you want a peek as to how the pages are designed, here's one...

I love how I'm prompted to think of new ways of writing about what I like, what I don't like, what I'm passionate about and everything in between!  Ideal for me!

For the past few weeks I've been using Keel's Simple Diary, and want to fill more than one page in a day!  The prompts seem almost humorous at first, but are actually often real head scratchers or just plain thought provoking.

I definitely recommend.

I've also bought myself Keel's All About Me journal.  It's really insightful and I'm looking forward to answering its questions as spontaneously as possible in the coming year.  I feel like I know myself pretty well, and that I spend a decent amount of time with my own thoughts, but I think it'll be pretty neat-o to see it on paper, I guess!

Earlier this year I purchased One Line A Day at a boutique gift store in London as a treat (it was somewhat overpriced!) and have been waiting months to begin filling it in.  I'm really looking forward to keeping this one going and for the next 5 years.  I'll be 30 in the last year of this book, and currently I can't imagine where I'll be and what I'll be doing, but I love that!  This memory book will be a great way of keeping track!

Are you a journal fan?  I'm looking forward to filling book and books and books with thoughts, goals, dreams and everything in between this coming year.
